Gather 2025 Presenter

Ben (they/he) is transmasculine non-binary, as well as gay. In fact, most of the letters in LGBTQIA apply to Ben to some degree, other than the B and *maybe* the I (TBD on that one). Ben believes that one of the very best ways to positively sway people’s perspectives on LGBTQIA+ issues is through positive exposure to LGBTQIA+ people, and they try to help provide that positive exposure as much as possible - through normal everyday interactions, through sharing information and personal experiences, and through music. Ben’s musical hobbies include composing and arranging, playing bagpipes with a local pipe band, and playing clarinet with a local orchestra. Ben is very excited to participate in the Gather Conference this year!
