Now in its second year, Gather For Youth, (GFY) is a Christ-centered support for Latter-day Saint LGBTQ youth (14-18*) and their parents. Youth allies (14-18*) are also welcome! Our primary mission is to foster a sense of belonging for youth—to themselves, to one another and to Jesus Christ, while embracing the reality of their individual journeys.

🌈 Embrace Your Identity - Our program is dedicated to helping children recognize their divine identity as LGBTQ children of Heavenly Parents.
⚓️Hope in Christ - Our Christ-centered focus emphasizes the role of Jesus Christ in healing and in giving hope. We encourage youth to seek a relationship with Christ and to nurture a greater understanding of His unconditional love.
👪 Strengthening Family Bonds - Our program also emphasizes the importance of creating stronger relationships between children and their parents, ensuring open communication and understanding.
🤝 Join this Amazing Community - Children will discover they are part of a wonderful community filled with supportive and inspiring individuals who uplift one another.
❤️ Designed with Love - Our program is crafted by LGBTQ individuals and parents who have navigated this journey and deeply believe in the light and future of our LGBTQ children. Together, we can create an affirming and empowering environment for all.
🎉 Programming - A two-day event full of workshops, talks, creative projects and bonding activities designed for LGBTQ youth, giving them safe spaces to honor Perfect Love for themselves and their peers. There will also be workshops designed for youth and their families, providing guided opportunities to learn and celebrate as a family.
*Gather for youth is for LGBTQ+ teens ages 14, 15, 16, or 17 and those who have turned (or will turn) 18 during the year 2025. Teens of the same age range who are friends, relatives, or allies are also welcome!
